Peachtree Dance provides dance education for ages 18 months – adult in Ballet, Modern, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Pointe, Contemporary, Irish, and Musical Theater. We are passionate about teaching strong dance technique in a warm, creative, and supportive environment. Our instructors have collegiate-level dance training and professional performance experience.


Peachtree Dance is home to Peachtree Dance Company, a pre-professional program for dancers ages 7-18. PDC provides training, performance opportunities, and outlets for creativity and comradeship, with the intention of preparing for opportunities in high school and beyond. Peachtree Dance Company performs throughout Metro Atlanta and is available for booking August-May.

2018-2019 SEASON

The 2018-2019 school season is August 13th, 2018 – May 17th, 2019. Please view our class schedule below.

When you register, your child has a space reserved in his/her class for the full school year. Tuition may be paid on auto-bill by semester or by month. Second semester tuition is billed January 4th, 2019. Monthly tuition is billed the 15th of the month, August-May. $15 late fee applies to balances more than 14 days overdue. We require 30 days' notice to discontinue monthly and semester billing. We offer open enrollment, prorated tuition, and multi-class discounts.

Please drop off and pick up your dancer within five minutes of the scheduled time. Three tardies count as one absence. Three absences per class are allowed per semester. Your dancer may attend an unlimited amount of make-up classes in the fall semester, and up to three make-up classes in the spring semester. Please contact the director to schedule a make-up lesson.


The Dance Department is the second floor of The Gym at Peachtree. Enter the main entrance of The Gym and proceed past the front desk to the end of the hall. Take the elevator or stairs down to the second floor. Our studios are Rooms 2402, 2403, 2404, and 2405.


Dress code is strongly enforced. Dress code helps instructors see students’ alignment more clearly. When students are properly dressed, they feel prepared for class and move with greater ease. Hair is an important aspect of dress code.

Prospective students may attend a complimentary trial class prior to registering. Trial classes are scheduled through the Dance Office. To schedule, please contact Esther Darden, Dance Associate, at . Please print and submit the below Trial Class Form to the instructor at the start of class. Completion of this form is required before participating.

The fall semester concludes with a Holiday Concert on December 15th, 2018. This festive event is at Peachtree Presbyterian’s Kellett Chapel. All classes participate with the exception of Mommy & Me Ballet and Itty Bitty classes. There is one more week of classes after the Holiday Concert.


The school year concludes with spring recitals. All classes participate with the exception of Mommy & Me Ballet and Itty Bitty classes. Recital and costume fees are due November 9th, 2018. Mandatory Dress Rehearsal for the Spring Recitals is Saturday, May 11th 2019. Springs Recitals are Saturday, May 18th 2019.
